Amflow PX Carbon Pro

The mountain biking world shifted when Amflow introduced the PL with the Avinox system. The PX Carbon Pro shifts it again — lighter, more powerful, and largely uninterested in what was previously thought possible. Same remarkable platform as the PX Carbon, finished with the parts you'd have fitted yourself anyway.

We've spent real time on Amflow at MB Cyclery: early starts, greasy roots, long descents, days that finish in the dark. DJI Avinox M2S Drive System

At the heart of the PX Carbon Pro sits the DJI Avinox M2S: 130Nm of nominal torque, a peak output of 1500W, and a weight of just 2.59kg. Nothing else in electric mountain biking reads quite like that.

Feeding it is an integrated, high-capacity 700Wh battery, itself a svelte 3.18kg. A fast charger is included.

The M2S reads the trail through multiple high-precision sensors and intelligent algorithms, adjusting output in real time so the assistance arrives smooth and linear — less a switch, more a second pair of legs. Auto mode [6] adapts to the terrain and your position on the bike as conditions change beneath you. And when the gradient turns unreasonable, Boost mode [7] releases 150N·m [3] of torque and 1500W [3] of high-power assistance — the sort of thing that turns a hike-a-bike into a story worth telling at the van.

Frame

The PX's frame is ultra-lightweight carbon, drawn around an all-new, cutting-edge progressive geometry. The result is a genuinely versatile platform: all-day trail terrain, alpine descents, bike park laps — it takes whatever you point it at. At 2.4kg it feels agile and playful underfoot, the ideal partner for that sublime motor.

It can also be tuned precisely to you. Five headset angle settings, two bottom bracket heights and four chainstay lengths give a potential 40 configurations — from calm and planted to short, sharp and alive.

What makes it the Pro

This is where the Carbon Pro separates itself. Suspension steps up to a FOX 36 Factory fork with the GRIP X2 damper — four-way adjustment, so high- and low-speed compression and rebound are all yours to dial — matched to a FOX Float X Factory shock over 160mm front and 150mm rear. Shifting is SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission, direct-mount and unbothered by mud or mis-timed shifts under power. Braking is Magura Gustav Pro on 203mm rotors front and rear, which is the right amount of brake for a bike this quick.

Underneath, Amflow's own XMC-30 carbon wheels cut rotating weight where it's felt most, wrapped in Schwalbe Magic Mary and Albert rubber, with a full carbon Amflow Enduro bar up front. All in, around 20kg — for a 150mm-travel bike with 150N·m on tap.

Warranty and after-sales support

The PX and the Avinox M2S system have been put through the most punishing reliability testing before reaching market. Should you ever need us, the PX frameset carries a 5-year limited warranty (to the original owner), and the Avinox motor and battery are covered for 2 years. Every Amflow PX is backed by multi-channel after-sales service — if something goes wrong, it gets sorted.
